On behalf of the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy (ICD), I am writing to announce the details of our forthcoming weeklong seminar being organized by the EMLA (Europe meets Latin America) Forum.

The next EMLA weeklong seminar will run from 12th July to 17th September and will consist of lectures, panel discussions, seminars, as well as cultural and social activities. In addition to looking at the history and development of the field of cultural diplomacy, and its contemporary application across the world, The next EMLA weeklong seminar will explore the current relations between Europe and Latin America, considering subjects regarding the political, economical and social dimensions. The program will consist of lectures, panel discussions, seminars, as well as cultural and social activities. Some of the issues that will be discussed during the seminar include: EU-LAC Summits, gender equality, a study of sustainable development in regions, migration, etc.

We are currently accepting applications to attend this program, and I would therefore be grateful if you could forward the information below on to anyone who you feel may be interested.
